How do I get started? We offer three ways to get started on your journey towards help and healing. Call the office at 763-497-0733 to speak with a staff member who will help you get your appointment set up. 1, Visit our patient portal, find an appointment time that works for you, request an appointment time and registration information for the portal will be sent to you via an email. This is the fastest and most effective way to get an appointment. 2. Go to the Contact Us page and fill out the form. Someone will email you or call you back as soon as possible. 3. Call us at 763-497-0733 and leave a message. Someone will get back to you as soon as possible.
What paperwork is required? Once you are registered with our patient portal all paperwork will be located there. Filling out the paperwork is quick and easy. You can also communicate directly with your therapist through the portal.
How long does it take to fill out the paperwork? With our new portal filling out the paperwork is quick and easy. I would however give yourself ample time to fill out the history form.
What if I have a question about the paperwork? The paperwork is fairly straight forward. However if you have questions you can send a message through the portal. In addition, Your therapist can answer questions for you at the start of your session as well.
What do I do if I do not have access to a computer? You can access the portal through your computer or through your phone. What can I expect at my first session? When you arrive at the office, please have a seat in the waiting room. Your therapist will come get you when your appointment begins. If you are doing telehealth you can access your appointment through the portal. Your therapist will join you as soon as possible. During this first hour-long session, your therapist will introduce themselves, state their qualifications, go over confidentiality and privacy policies, answer any questions you might have, and then begin the process of getting to know your unique needs and goals. There will be specific questions that will need to be answered. Filling out your history form thoroughly ahead of time will help this process go more smoothly.
Billing and Insurance
Do you Accept My Insurance? We do accept most insurance. While benefits vary greatly with each policy, please check with your insurance provider to verify coverage.
How much do I have to pay? Your portion of the cost will be determined by your policy. Some policies require a co-pay, and some insurances require you to satisfy a deductible before benefits are applied. You can pay your therapist at the start of the session or pay on the patient portal.
Do I have to use Insurance? No you do not have to use your insurance. You may choose to pay out of pocket. We do offer a sliding fee scale based on your annual income. This method of payment can be beneficial if you do not want a mental health diagnosis on your health record.
What if I have a financial hardship? Please let us know if you have a financial hardship. Many options are available to you including payment plans, sliding fee scale, and the option to see an intern at a reduced rate.
What payment methods are accepted? You may pay with cash, check, or credit card. Mental health visits can be paid with your HSA/FSA account as well. You can pay your therapist at your visit or on the patient portal.
What if I have a question about my bill? Any billing questions can be answered by our business office at 763-497-0733 or your therapist might be able to answer your question.
