Michelle uses a positive and immediate approach to life change when counseling families, couples and individuals. She will help you transform the overwhelming experiences of life to create a positive and exciting reality. Michelle is dedicated to helping people reach their full potential. Whether the stress comes from daily life, marriage, family systems, career, or parenting, she can help you make the change you desire. She is a Licensed Supervisor with the State of MN, a Certified Clinical Trauma Profession (CCTP) and Clinical Dialectical Behavior Therapy (C-DBT). Michelle works with a variety of individuals with a variety of mental health issues. She has dedicated much of her career, over the past 15 years, working with law enforcement personnel, veterans, firefighters and many others who dedicate their lives to helping others. She was married to a former police officer and therapist. She has a daughter in the military and helped support her and her son for the first 9 years of her military career. She knows all too well the stress put on individual rescue workers and their families. For this reason, Michelle focused her practice on helping the helpers. Primarily focusing on the effects of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)on emergency workers and their families. She works with rescue workers who may be dealing with a singular trauma or accumulated trauma due to job stress and/or always having to be on-guard. She will help to bring hope and healing to these individuals and the people who love them.
